“As you become more aligned with the truth of who you are, the question of liking yourself goes away. It is a natural state of being.”
True to Self.
Rachel Archelaus puts these words into such beautiful language above.
If you have read any of my past posts, you’ll have noticed that I spend a lot of time talking about the seeking and the many problems empty seeking causes in our lives.
There are two ways we seek, either from fear or from curiosity.
Fear is the empty seeking. The trying to fill a void or become someone you think others want to see.
Curiosity creates an impetus to seek something more, to find where we are meant to go in life. This is the type of journey that leads to the freedom that Archelaus describes.
The more we seek understanding behind the uncomfortable feelings that show us to be unaligned with ourselves, the closer we get to our true selves. The closer we get to our true selves, the closer we become to our inner happiness and our inner guide.
The amazing thing about life is we get to choose what type of path we are going to follow.
Often the fearful path is one we choose with our unconscious mind, by following the status quo and staying in a place of familiar.
When we make conscious choices, we get to decide to present ourselves from a place of our choosing. The more we consciously question the way we are, think and feel, the more we become authentic and as described above, the byproduct is a natural state of self love.
Which life are you going to choose for yourself?
