Four steps to lasting Change- Plus Announcements!

The new year is almost here!  2016 has flown by and now it’s time to start thinking about those New Year Resolutions for 2017, are you ready?

If you’re anything like me, the first three weeks are full of potential, possibility, and excitement. By about February however, you’re already starting to excuse away why you aren’t going to the gym or eating healthier…

So what happened?

Where did all that motivation, excitement and enthusiasm go?

The problem is that the new year means nothing unless something changes in YOU!

So how do we make these change and make them last?

There are four steps that need to happen and they go in order:

  • Release work– unload the baggage (mental and emotional) you have been carrying around day to day, relationship to relationship, career to career, etc.
  • Goals– set goals that not only have an end point (lose 10 pounds) but are also part of a process (Happier and Healthier life).  These give us both stepping stones to change as well as continual  motivation.
  • Take Action- this is the easy part (at first) and requires the last step to really solidify into transformational change
  • Focus- Keep your eye on the prize! Visualize the results you want until it feels so real that only your physical actions have to catch up (in your mind you are already there!)

The first two steps are difficult to do on our own, and you may be thinking to yourself “how do I actually go about releasing mental and emotional baggage?” and the second two require discipline and often someone to hold you accountable to the things you actually say you’re going to get done.

Lucky for you, this is where I come in!

The second two are where we really coach, create the path and stay on track. You do the work, I’m only here to help you stay on track.

The life I envision for myself has just begun to unfold in these last few months. I have been able to work through my own baggage to release my depression, my less than positive outlook and reset my values to actually help me reach my goals. The power behind these shifts is incredible, and they are waiting for you as well!

Change happens instantaneously, it’s being ready to change that tends to take us some time.
