We ALL have our “Moments”

Shattered glass

You know the “moments” I’m talking about.

The ones we try to keep inside, keep hidden, avoid at all costs.

The moments where we lose our s*$t.

These are the moments where we hit the breaking point. Everything boils over and we can’t function any more.

The moments no amount of positive thinking, silver lining, lesson learning, will bring us out of our stuff that is sitting on our chest like an elephant.

At these moments, it’s easy to become caught up in the thought spiral- the doom and gloom of “what else is about to happen?”

The Upside to Life’s Obstacles

Forgiveness in a Few Steps

There is an important part of Self Love that I didn’t talk about in my post A Lesson on Self Love and that is forgiveness.  Both of others and of Self.

I’m sure many of you have heard this quote before but just in case, here is a reminder:

“To err is human, to forgive, divine.”
Alexander Pope, An Essay on Criticism
